I’m a Chico-based maternity photographer with a deep love for the quiet, sacred moments of pregnancy. My sessions are relaxed and guided. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll take care of all of that, so you can simply be present and feel beautiful.

The right moment matters
When to book your
maternity session
The most flattering maternity portraits happen within a specific window. Here’s how to time yours perfectly.
The Sweet Spot
Between 28–32 weeks is the ideal window for most mothers. Your bump is beautifully round and full, your energy is strong, and you’re comfortable enough to move freely and look radiant in photos.
Fuller & Glowing
If you want a more dramatic, full-bump look, weeks 33–36 are gorgeous. Just note that later in this window, comfort levels vary. We’ll plan accordingly and take all the breaks you need.
Late & Luminous
Sessions after 37 weeks are still possible and beautiful! Just keep in mind baby could arrive anytime. We recommend having a backup date in mind, and I’m always flexible for last-minute reschedules.
Pro tip: Book your session at 20–24 weeks to lock in your preferred date and location. The best sessions fill up weeks in advance, especially golden-hour slots. Reach out early so we can secure your perfect evening together.
